(More customer reviews)This shoulder rest has a brilliant design which allows it to be used on any size violin. That's why I bought it for my new electric violin which has a odd sized bout. The pad is always just where you need it. Sturdy little thing. In reference to another reviewer, a shoulder rest is not actually made to be "comfortable" in the sense of being very well padded. Some violinists rest the bare violin on their shoulder. A shoulder rest provides a comfortable height for the chin to rest at and allows the back of the violin to resonate more. Nice product. I've used Kun and Resonans but I like this one the best.
